Adele Zeynep Walton is a British-Turkish journalist reporting on digital technology and social change.
She has written for The Independent, the i, Dazed, VICE, Metro, The Big Issue, Jacobin, Open Democracy, Tribune, Huck, gal-dem, The New Arab and more. Her articles have been translated into Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, Swedish, Turkish and Spanish, and she has featured on CBC News, Sky News, BBC Radio and Channel 4 News.
Adele is currently writing her debut non-fiction book which will publish in 2025, and is a journalistic deep dive into the human impacts of digital technology and Big Tech. As an advocate of a humane digital world, she believes in the importance of collective action to reclaim our digital world for our collective benefit. She was the recipient of a Society of Authors Authors’ Foundation grant (2023).
